This weekend was absolutely fucking insane.

Friday I had a Precal final and an English final, then I went to work, and Bobby (my boss) brought me a bottle of Jager and told me to have a good weekend. I love him.

Around 9 on Friday night Stefanie and I embarked on the long journey to Lowell. We got into Lowell a few hours later and called Zorn to see if he wanted to get some food with us before we went and partied with the Noras. Turned out that something really, really awful happened, and all of the Noras and the Jersey crew turned around went straight back to Jersey. I'm not going to go announcing details all over the internet, but I'm absolutely heartbroken for those guys and my deepest condolences go out to the Ross family.

Anyway, that left us without a place to stay, since we were planning on crashing in their hotel. We hung out on the official SOTU merch bus, met some cool people, went and got Wendy's with Zorn, and then we all wandered around in the tour bus parking lot with a bottle of Jager in each hand. We ended up drinking with some of the From Autumn to Ashes dudes, A Life Once Lost, ETID, Gwar, Chimaira, and a bunch of other cool fucking people. Zorn and Eric the TK merch boy wanted me to come to Philly today, or just go on the rest of the tour. Eric was serious too. He was like, "Dude, if we all chip in a couple dollars a day, we can totally support her!" Hahaha. I actually don't remember much about that night, and I was overwhelmed by the volume of awesome bands who were just hanging out and drinking, but I do know that a lot later on I ended up with Chris Byrnes. Hahaha. Fucking amazing. I stumbled onto the bus at like 4 AM, woke up 5, and then laid there for a few hours until everyone else woke up. Met some more cool people, got my free ticket and photopass from Will Call, picked up the tickets I bought, and found a random ticket lying around that I scalped for $40, and I sold my extra ticket to Luke.

The show itself was awesome, but very long. 12 hours long dude. Highlights include the Wall of Death that happened not even an hour into the show, Every Time I Die, Throwdown, Poison the Well, at one point running the Ferret, Trustkill, and Prosthetic merch tables all at once, the 50 year old security guard giving me his number, helping Eric with the Trustkill tent for four hours and getting us mad tips and then helping him do stock for like ever, GWAR, the Gwar golf cart, going to the Every Time I Die meet-and-greet ("Hi, Chris, nice to meet you." Hahahahaha), the Jagerettes, the Jager bus, the amazing tour busses we got to sleep on, getting yelled at by Opeth, hearing about the videos of me that everyone but me has seen, Zorn telling every damn person at the show my "stories" from Metalfest and Chicopee ("Dude, at Metalfest, this girl...", "I think I like this girl"-Eric, "You HAVE to come on tour with us", the 26 year old Unearth roadie thinking I was 19, "NICE SHORTS!"- the ETID dudes when I walked by wearing my shorts that say 'ETID' on the ass, Chris Byrnes kicking ass as the latest addition to ETID, telling Ben from FATA that I was the girl who asked him the pinata question, the hot dude from FATA that I drank with whose mother lived in Freetown, the FATA dudes waving every time they passed us...and so much more. Oh man. Such a random, crazy, exhausting weekend.

Towards the end of the show, I just worked the TK tent with Eric, and I helped him take stock and count every shirt in every size and write it all down. It took like two hours but it was fun. He was wicked fucking cool. He and I had fun after we finished all that shit.

After that, I was back and forth between hanging with Eric and hanging on the Unearth bus with Steff, and the sketchy Unearth roadies. Their bus call was at 1, so everyone started taking off. We went to do the same, when, oh wait, my battery was dead. So we waited for AAA and then went to Alysha's in Westminster and passed out. Then they had a barbecue the next day, and Luke and several other cool people came. On our way to leave we ran into this dude named Dad who I met back at the WCR show before Metalfest.

So the weekend didn't turn out as planned at all, but it was still a fucking awesome time in its own way, despite the tragedy that took place right at the start of the weekend. I bought way too merch but also got a ton of free shit- a bunch of Jager gear, a free FATA shirt, several free cds (found the cds and the FATA shirt on the floor), and Eric gave me a TK shirt. Plus Zorn and the Prosthetic girl gave me discounts on the shirts I bought from them.

I think I put somewhere like 500 miles on my car this weekend.

Insane pictures to come tomorrow.
