the end of high school
Today I walked out the doors of Apponequet Regional High School for the very last time. And I didn't just walk out the doors of a building, I walked out the doors of the past four years of my life.
I peeled my nametag off of my cubby in art class and I almost started crying. It hadn't really sunk in yet, until that moment. It was really final; like the symbol of the end for me. It wasn't until I threw the tag in the trash that I realized that it really is 2006, and I really am graduating.
It's really hard to say goodbye sometimes.
