Sometimes I think people just don't want to see me happy, since everytime there's a smile on my face, someone always has to go out of their way to wipe it off. No matter how high I get, there's always someone behind me, waiting for the chance to put me down.

I keep thinking to myself that it'll be better once I get to college. But what if it isn't? All I ever do is run away. Eventually I'm going to run out of places to run away to.

There will probably always be people everywhere you go who want to put you down sadly, the world is full of assholes like that. But so long as you remember that they're sad little shits with no lives, you'll be okay. You're a wonderful person and you deserve nothing but happiness, so fuck 'em. Try to keep smiling and keep your chin up. :)

emily... let me tell you. college is 500 times better than high school. you just have to be open to making new friends, including people you wouldn't normally be friends with in high school. it's so fun living on campus. something you'll never wanna miss out on. time of your life.
